Cad Systems Australia Pty. Ltd. (CSA) had it's humble beginnings in 1985 supplying AutoCAD and computer hardware (AutoCAD 1.14, MS Dos + xt computers with 1-360k floppy disk) to the steel detailing industry, but activities soon expanded to include the development of steel detailing software ("FabCAD) as an "add-on" to AutoCAD to improve productivity. The "FabCAD" block library soon became TSD - The Steel Detailer and this program has gradually developed from a 2D steel detailing add-on to the full solid modelling program that is now called TSD2000.
The CSA development team is comprised of experienced steel detailers and C programmers, and this expertise has lead to the development of a flexible and fully configurable software program that produces detail drawings of a type familiar to most steel detailers but with the ability to be configured to suit all detailing methods.
CSA's corporate vision is to lead TSD2000 to the forefront of steel detailing software programs worldwide.
