The Colorado Coalition of Independent Political Parties (CCIPP) is a statewide, grassroots coalition made up of the official minor parties in the state of Colorado. The official minor parties in the state of Colorado are: The Colorado Coalition of Independent Political Parties is dedicated to increasing Colorado voter awareness and participation in independent political parties by working together in areas of mutual concern and common interest.

The Goals of CCIPP include: When you register to vote in the state of Colorado you have more than just two choices. On your voter registration card you can affiliate with the Democratic Party, the Republican Party, Unaffiliated, or Other. Check 'other' and write the name of the party on the line provided. The official names to use are: American Constitution Party, Green Party, Libertarian Party, Natural Law Party, or Colorado Reform Party.

It is important to register with a Third Political Party. In the state of Colorado, if you are an official minor party you have automatic ballot access, which means that you do not have to petition to get on the ballot every year. To become an official minor party in the state of Colorado you must obtain at least 5% of the total votes in a state-wide race, petition the state of Colorado with 10,000 signatures, or have at least 1000 registered voters. To maintain your minor party status you must receive at least 1% of the total vote in a state-wide race or have at least 1000 registered voters affiliated with your party. So, as you can see, it is important to register with a third political party.
