Who we are

Al-Awda, The Palestine Right to Return Coalition, is a broad-based, non-partisan, global, democratic association of grassroots activists and organisational representatives. We campaign for the right of Palestinian refugees to return to their homeland, and to full restitution of all their confiscated and destroyed property in accordance with the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, International law and implementation of United Nations Resolutions which uphold these rights.

Our aims and objectives are:

• To raise awareness of the international communitys responsibility to fulfil its legal and moral obligations vis--vis Palestinian refugee rights under international law.
• To develop and co-ordinate global and local grassroots initiatives for action related to Palestinian rights.
• To lobby for an end to the Israeli occupation of Palestine.
• To lobby the British Government and the European Union to ensure a just and comprehensive peace settlement in historic Palestine.
• To develop links with refugee groups in Palestine, the Middle East and worldwide, and work to support them in their work and campaigns.
