Rose Mary Montgomery began her journey with creativity when she was 10 years old and watched her brother'sgirlfriend draw horses. She was amazed at this persons ability to show such emotion in a drawing and has beenstriving to do just that ever since. Montgomery was born in 1949 in Cheyenne, Wyo. She studied painting and drawing everywhere she lived beginningin Kansas City Missouri and the Kansas City Arts Institute. Her teachers taught her more than how to hold a brushor pencil; she learned their passion and tried to emulate that. She began RM Fine Arts, Publishing in 1992 with herprint titled To Santa. She painted it originally for her own family and aroused such an interest in personalizingholiday art that she is publishing new prints each year and adding them to her collection to this day.
