MADRaT does it again! A successful fun raising ride for the Leukemia Society of America. Team members Brenda Smith and Tracy Miksell successfully raised thousands of dollars for Leukemia research. For Team Captain Barclay Brown it was the second time at El Tour, one of the largest open racing cycling events in the country.
All finished in fine style on their high tech Lightning recumbent bikes, and Barclay earned top honors as 1st Place Recumbent (the first year they've even had such an award!) and received a Gold medal with a finishing time of 5:53. Brenda and Tracy both received Silver medals, and it was their longest ride ever!
All in all it was an awesome event, and a wonderful way to finish out a busy season for the MADRaT team.
