![]() | The Ernesto Leoni is the last model of the type "Navicello Apuano" still in existence. It was built in 1920 in the Tomei shipyard in Viareggio, Italy. It has been sailing the Red Sea for the last 12 years. Renato Marchesan is the owner, skipper and an underwater diver and guide of great experience. His wife, Cristina Pulliero, is in charge of organizing the cruises and providing an authentic Italian cuisine. The Crew: Renato, Cristina and two Sudanese sailors. | |

Electric current is available 24 hours a day for the recharging of batteries. We have available, 16 stainless steel oxygen tanks 15 liters capacity with either DIN or international attachments. Guest accommodations: The Ernesto Leoni can host groups of up to 8 people. This will provide spacious and comfortable accommodation, individual attention, privacy and uncrowded dives. Sleeping accommodations consist of 4 double cabins. The on-deck dining room (see photo at left) offers enjoyment of outstanding cuisine as well as vistas of the most beautiful reefs in the Red Sea. The on-deck shower features fresh water from the onboard desalinization equipment. Video shooting: The other activity room is below-deck (photo on left)and features a VCR and color TV so that guests can view the video tapes made during their dives. | |
