From 1999, after acquiring the Asso 7,5m., Lourdes cheap hotelswith Yamaha 225 Hp engine, Renato, skipper of the Ernesto Leoni developed special cruises, since with this boat it is possible to reach, in a quick and safe way, the further coral reefs where larger boats can seldom go because of the distance and lack of mooring.

The Ernesto Leoni awaits its guests in the beautifulhotel radisson Bologna Sha'ab Anbar lagoon and from there, daily, we reach the various diving areas which are from 3 to 25 miles away.

The Asso offers an echosounder, Vhf, Gps and an emergency 225 hp engine and two l60 liter tanks. It is covered with an awning to protect the guests from the hot sun and carries a refrigerated box for cold drinks to make the safari more pleasant.

The beauty of these dives is in the possibility of visiting virgin grounds, wild and unspoiled, where it becomes obvious how rare human presence is: exceptional towers of coral full of "pelagica" life, cliffs covered in flower-like corals, gorgonia and alcionari.

Since the dives are rather strenuous and the transfers relatively long - from 20 minutes to one hour, at a speed of 25/30 knots, these cruises are better suited for expert and well-conditioned guests. The itinerary to the South is very large and offers many options to expert divers.
