Key Features:
- SD2000 is a parametric Structural Steel Detailing software program that allows the user to create either single detailed members or 2D Wire frame models or 3D solid models of steel structures such as buildings, frames, trestles, transmission towers, trusses, stairs, ladders, platforms, and plated structures such as hoppers, bins, chutes etc. 2D detail drawings can be extracted from the model including single members, assemblies, marking plans. All drawings are complete with dimensions, item marks, notations, material lists that include mass and surface area calculations.
- NO DRAFTING - TSD2000 uses an easy to use Dialogue box fill in questionnaire format and selections from libraries of section sizes, parametrically created connections and prototype members (beams, columns, braces) and assemblies (stairs, trusses, ladders, hand railing) to create the members on the wire frames, with automatic calculation of joint cuts, clearances, and matching connections. The wire frame line is all that is usually required to be created.
- Layouts are used instead of calculations - automatic section size values are used for calculations and all distances are picked off layouts.
- TSD2000 contains libraries of member section shapes and sizes from the following countries: Australia, Canada, China, Germany, Great Britain, India, South Africa, USA.
- TSD2000 contains libraries of parametrically adjustable standard connections (Base, End, Fin). Many of these connections contain matching connections that are automatically added to supporting members.
- TSD2000 is fully configurable by the user to suit any form of presentation.
- TSD2000 has metric and imperial versions.
- TSD2000 can be operated stand-alone or in multi-user environments.
- TSD2000 has an onboard macro language that can be utilised by the user.
- TSD2000 has links to analysis software programs such as STAAD III, Microstran, and will soon have an SDNF (Shop Detailer Neutral File) interface to allow interfacing to other modelling programs.
- TSD2000 can generate N/C code & has links to many popular controllers.
- TSD2000 can extract ASCII files which can be used to obtain BOM information.
