Disappearing Inc. Presents Disappearing Email Service at EMA/2000
CEO Maclen Marvit to Discuss Recent Events Regarding High Profile Email Cases; Service Provides Central Administration of Email Policies
Boston, Mass., April 4, 2000 - Disappearing Inc., a San Francisco-based developer of email policy systems, will be presenting its Disappearing Email service this week at the EMA 2000 conference being held in Boston from April 4th to 8th.
"As the number of incidents involving unanticipated disclosure or inappropriate destruction of old email continues to increase, we're seeing a rapidly growing demand for Disappearing Email," said Maclen Marvit, CEO of Disappearing Inc. "Since we started Disappearing Inc, it has become obvious that every organization needs to implement an email policy using a system like Disappearing Email. And as the recent events at the White House demonstrate, meeting both the technical and legal requirements of email policy is no easy task."
Disappearing Email eliminates the risks of unmanaged message archives, and enables users to discuss sensitive matters via email safely. Disappearing Email provides a central point of control that lets managers implement customized email retention and destruction policies. It operates transparently inside users' standard email clients such as Microsoft Outlook, and requires no change to server infrastructure.
Disappearing Inc. is taking orders for its Disappearing Email service, which is now being deployed at companies in the healthcare, energy, telecommunications, biotechnology, and publishing industries.
