Disappearing Inc. Wins Popular Science Magazine's Best of What's New Award

Disappearing Inc. Recognized as Email Privacy Innovator

SAN FRANCISCO, CA (November 8, 2000)Disappearing Inc., a San Francisco-based email privacy company, has received the Popular Science Best of What's New Award for 2000 for its Disappearing Email software, which is available for free at http://www.disappearing.com/download.html.

Disappearing Email was selected from thousands of new products and innovations by the editors of Popular Science, and an advisory panel selected by the magazine, for innovation and technical achievement. Winners must in some way improve the quality of life as a part of the criteria for the award. Disappearing Email will be on display at the 13th Annual Popular Science Best of What's New Technology Expo in New York City on November 9, 2000.

Disappearing Email enables organizations to ensure the confidentiality of their message archives, and to set and enforce email policies. It also allows individuals to protect their privacy by writing their messages in the digital equivalent of disappearing ink.

The Popular Science Best of What's New Technology Expo is being held in New York City on Thursday, November 9, 2000 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Tavern on the Green, Central Park at West 67th Street.
