The hilltop site of The Rainwater Observatory & Planetarium is located one mile east of the village (population ~300) of French Camp, Mississippi. For visitors, we have a beautiful fenced in picnic area and covered pavilion, an outdoor amphitheater, a working planetarium, a classroom and lecture hall, and more.
