Cappella's Quiet Touch Pads are made out of 1/4" thick aerated rubber and can be used for perfect sound control. You simply lay them over the drum head to deaden the sound if the drummer wants to practice on the drum itself.
These pads can also be used as a practice pad. They are light weight and very inexpensive. In addition, they can be carried around in a stick bag easily.
The aerate rubber really works the muscles and helps to develop better coordination and stick control.
