Welcome to BikeIllinois. Our goal is to have information about all of the bikepaths in the Chicagoland Area, from the neighborhood path to the Grand Illinois Trail andall points in between. We originally started back in 1997, but unfortunately, the project never got off theground. Well, we have gone back to the drawing board and are scouring the Internetand everybody in between to find out about bike paths in the Chicagoland area. Now for 1999, we are working hard to finish the idea we had two years ago. Withinformation from the Fox Valley Bicycle Club and a few people who added feedback from the geocities site. Now, we have joined the JolietChristian Communciations family and are looking to grow up on the trails! Some people have been asking if BikeIllinois accepts donations. While Iappreciate the fact you all want to support this site, it just is a project by a collegestudent & bicyclist so I really don't need donations. But, there are manyagencies that would love a donation and can put it to great use. They include (butare not exhaustive!):
