Rider's Comments: You can access this 2.5-mile path near Lockport'sPioneer Settlement. Going south, the path runs along the canal and leads to Lock #1 nearDivision Street. This is the first of a series of 15 locks that were built on the I&MCanal and are many which can be seen on the trail.
The trail continues south of Division and left of the I&M Canal. Head south foranother mile to Dellwood Park (above) and Fraction Run Creek. Here the trail is crushedlimestone. If you are headed to Dellwood Park, walk your bike across the railroad tracksand past the narrow trail along the cliff.
