Directions for parking: Parking is available from Black Road just east ofI-55 and from Essington Road at Ingalls Avenue (NEW in 99!).
Trail Map:

Rider's Comments: Located west of Joliet on Black Road, this formerquarry now features ponds and wetlands that support abundant waterfowl. A 1.2-mile asphalttrail with interpretive signposts loops around the wetland. Two short .4-mile crushedlimestone side trails run through a sedge meadow and a prairie.
