TV/VCR Alert

ABC will air Skate America in three installments Sunday, October 29, 1:30-3:30 PM ET (Ladies), Sunday, November 5, 1:00-2:00 PM ET (Pairs) and 5:00 6:00 PM ET Skate America (Men)

Short Programs from Skate Canada will air on ESPN Monday, November 13, 9:00-11:30 PM ET.

In the News

The December issue of International Figure Skating features a lengthy article covering Todd's return to full-time eligible skating.

The October issue of Skating Magazine mentions Todd in it's preview of the upcoming season. "Meanwhile there are few figure skaters in the U.S. who have surpassed the popularity or success of Todd Eldredge.  Even while out of competitive
eligible competition, Eldredge has maintained a steady and fervent group of followers, who all eagerly await his return to the circuit this year.  In fact, his return may become one of the most talked about developments in men's figure skating this year." 

The October issue of Skating Magazine also included a short article of Todd working with Special Olympians in Indianapolis while on the COI tour.  Todd participated in a workshop guiding several skaters.  The article included a photo of Todd with Special Olympian Mitchell O'Bryan.

Jimmy V Celebrity Golf Classic

In honor of the occasion of Todd's 29th birthday, a group of his fans have made a donation of $1,060 to the Stacey Pensgen training fund.  In June, Todd had traveled to Rochester to help launch a fund raising drive for Stacey (see press conference report).  A certificate representing the donation was presented to Todd when he participated in the Jimmy V Celebrity Golf Classic on August 27.

A Man's Castle

Todd and his new home were featured in a Home & Garden TV special entitled A Man's Castle. Todd took viewers on a tour in and around his new lakeside home. If you missed the special, you can check out these HGTV Screen Shots including Todd's Lalique crystal chandelier, kitchen, living room, dining room, entertainment room, and exterior views.

News Conference and Skating Session in Rochester, NY

On June 23, 2000, Todd Eldredge, Richard Callaghan, and Stacey Pensgen held a press conference at the Ritter Memorial Ice Arena at the Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, NY. The purpose of the press conference was to encourage the Rochester community to support Stacey Pensgen, an up-and-coming skater from the area.
