The following Omniva Policy Systems Privacy Policy is intended to clarify the information gathering, use, and dissemination practices for Omniva Policy Systems' Web site (www.omniva.com), Omniva's Disappearing Email free trial product, and the Policy Manager Product(s) and Service(s) ("Service(s)"). Unless you or the company or the entity you work for has signed a a separate Services Agreement with Omniva Policy Systems and has paid for the right to use our Services, the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy will Apply.

Information We Collect and Why

Email addresses are automatically gathered during installation in order to configure users for our Services; if a user's email address is not collected by the Service, the Service will not function for that user. Other than to provide you with periodic notices about software updates or other limited corporate announcements, we will not use your email address for anything other than to support your use of the Services. Users' email addresses will never be shared, sold, or rented to any third party except as described in this Privacy Policy or agreed to in advance by the users.

Users may opt out of providing all information about them other than their email address at the time of registration.

We do NOT have access to most message contents and no messages are ever stored on our computers. In the limited circumstances in which we do have access to message contents, message data is in memory only and is never written to disk. The content of users' email messages will never be stored, shared, sold, or rented to any third party except as described in this Privacy Policy or agreed to in advance by the users.

We Use Cookies and Why

We currently use "cookies" to keep track of where the user is during the installation of our Service. No personally identifiable information is stored by, or as a result of, such cookies. Cookies are only used by Omniva Policy Systems and, except as described in this Privacy Policy or agreed to in advance by the users, are not shared with third parties. We Use Your IP Address and Message Header information and Why

We use your IP address to help diagnose problems, and to administer our Web Site and Service. In addition, we temporarily store copies of the header information of protected messages to support the operation and future enhancement of the Service. Once a message has expired, the header information is deleted from our database. IP addresses and header information, except as described in this paragraph or agreed to in advance by the users, will never be shared, sold, or rented to any third party.

Not Responsible for Content on Linked Sites

While we make every effort to ensure the integrity and security of our network and systems, we cannot guarantee that our security measures will prevent third-party "crackers" from illegally obtaining information available in our databases.
